The KSI Panama teachers attended the PAIS conference.
The Panamanian Association of Internationally-minded Schools (PAIS) is an organization formed by a group of schools in Panama, of which KSI is part, that share a common educational philosophy and vision. Its members seek to improve education through a trusting network and collaboration.
PAIS organizes the annual Teachers' Conference which not only has relevant guest speakers but also, and most importantly, teachers sharing their knowledge and experiences with other teachers. The conference is organized by the Professional Development Committee, which has two members of KSI faculty: Ms. Ana Isaza and Ms. Geena Huratdo.
This year the conference's theme was Learning Reinvented and education "super stars" Tracey Tokuhama and Stuart Stotts as keynote speakers. All KSI faculty attended the conference and found it insightful and engaging. Also, one of our teachers, Mr. Pedro Bonilla, was a speaker for one of the morning sessions and in charge of the Math job-alike meeting.
Congratulations to Ms. Gena, Ms. Ana, and Mr. Pedro for representing us in the PAIS conference.
